Turn Webpages Into Usable Data
Extract webpage content and turn it into clean, structured information.
Scrollable Web Data → Excel
Capture data inside a scrollable area and turn it into structured Excel.
In “Turn Webpages Into Usable Data”: Pulse reads the webpage in front of it, turns the content into a structured result and exports it, for example to Excel, CSV or JSON.
In “Scrollable Web Data → Excel”: Smart Snip selects a scrollable list inside a webpage, captures the content of that whole panel rather than only the visible part, and exports it to Excel.

Extract a table from a website to Excel
A comparison table, a supplier list, a set of search results: if a page has repeated, comparable information, Pulse structures it into rows and columns automatically. The Excel export is a genuine workbook, not an image or a text dump, so you can sort, filter and build on it immediately.
The same extraction covers the rest of a normal spreadsheet workflow. Send the web data to a spreadsheet as .xlsx, take the same structured rows as CSV where a tool prefers that, or as JSON when the result is going into something you are building. One extraction, exported in whichever shape the next step needs.
Most pages have no Download to Excel button, and the ones that do rarely export the view you are looking at. Copying the HTML table by hand drags the page's formatting and links into every cell. Pulse reads the page as your browser rendered it, including content a script built after the page loaded and pages you are signed in to, and writes the result as plain, typed cells. When the table exists only as a picture, convert the image to Excel with Smart Snip instead.
What comes out, and where it can go.
- Excel (.xlsx)A real workbook with typed cells you can sort, filter and write formulas against.
- CSVThe same rows for any tool, database or import screen that expects plain columns.
- JSONThe structured result, with its fields, for something you are building.
- PDF report, Word, PowerPointThe same extraction as a document, when the rows need to reach a person rather than a spreadsheet.
Free to start. Pay when you need more.
No card for the free plan. Copying a result never counts against anything. Annual plans are also available on the pricing page.

How is this different from Excel's From Web or Google Sheets IMPORTHTML?
Those fetch a public URL and read the plain HTML tables in it, which works well for a simple public table. They cannot see a page you are signed in to, content a script builds after loading, or repeated cards that are not a formal table. Pulse works from the page as it is rendered in your own browser, so what you see is what it structures.
Is the Excel file a real workbook?
Yes. The export is a genuine .xlsx workbook with typed cells, not a screenshot or a block of text pasted into a spreadsheet. You can sort it, filter it, write formulas against it and drop it straight into a tracker.
What if the page doesn't have an obvious table?
Pulse looks for repeated, comparable items rather than for a formal table tag. A grid of product cards, a page of search results or a directory of offices usually structures into rows just as well. Where a page genuinely has no repeated structure, you still get its key fields as one clean record.
Do I need to write selectors or configure anything?
No. You open the page and click Extract Page. There is nothing to map, no schema to design and no code to write.
Can I export to CSV or JSON instead of Excel?
Yes. The same structured result exports as CSV or JSON as well as .xlsx, from the same extraction. Pick the format the next tool expects; there is nothing to re-run.
Can it convert an HTML table to Excel or JSON?
Yes. An HTML table on the page you are viewing comes out as rows and columns in a real .xlsx, and the same result exports as JSON with its fields, or CSV. You do not need the page's source code or a converter site: Pulse reads the table as your browser rendered it, including tables a script filled in after the page loaded.
Does it only work on pages with a real table?
No. Pulse works from repeated, comparable items rather than from a table tag, so product grids, directory listings and search results usually convert just as cleanly. Where a page has no repeated structure at all, you still get its key fields as one clean record rather than an empty file.
How many pages can I convert?
Free includes 20 Page Extractions and 10 Professional Exports a month. Starter, Pro and Intelligence make both unlimited.
