Choose Browse AI when you need the same data collected repeatedly, on a schedule, across many pages, with monitoring and integrations. Choose Pulse Extractor when you want the page in front of you as an Excel workbook now, without setting anything up, or you also need text from images, a full-page capture, Word and PowerPoint, or research.

What Browse AI says it does
Teams that need the same data collected from websites repeatedly, on a schedule, kept current and sent to other tools.
- You train a robot by pointing at the data you want, then download it as CSV or JSON or sync it to Excel, Google Sheets or Airtable.[1]
- Robots can run on a schedule, from every few minutes to monthly, with monitoring that detects changes and keeps history.[2]
- Says it reads dynamic pages and pages behind a login.[3]
- Offers integrations including a REST API, webhooks, Google Sheets, Airtable and automation platforms, plus prebuilt robots for popular sites.[4]
- Prices by credits: a Free plan with 50 credits a month, Personal from $19 a month and Professional from $69 a month (both billed annually), and Premium from $500 a month.[6]
- Does not describe full-page screenshots, text recognition from images, or Word and PowerPoint export.[5]

Using both
Teams often use a scheduled scraper for the feeds they track every day and an in-browser tool for the one-off pages that come up in between. If a job needs to run without you, that is Browse AI's territory; if it starts with "I am looking at this page and need it in Excel", that is Pulse's.
How this comparison was made
We read Browse AI's own public pages and store listing on and restated only what they say, in our own words, with a link to each source. We did not test Browse AI, so its column reports its claims, not our measurements. Products change: check the sources before you decide, and tell us if something here is out of date.

Questions
Can Pulse run on a schedule like a Browse AI robot?
No. Pulse works when you click, on the page you are viewing. For scheduled collection and monitoring, use a tool built for it, such as Browse AI, or the site's own export or API.
Does Pulse produce a real Excel file?
Yes. Extract Page exports a genuine .xlsx workbook with typed cells, and the same result exports as CSV or JSON.
Does Pulse need setup for each website?
No. There are no selectors, robots or templates. Pulse looks for repeated, comparable items on the page, whether or not they are a formal table.
