This page publishes the Home Office fee schedule across twelve separate tables, thousands of pixels apart. One Extract Page run returned a workbook with each fee table on its own worksheet, plus Overview, Key Information, Sources and Run Information tabs. The whole document, structured, in under a second - and every row is a real spreadsheet cell you can sort, filter and total.

Real-world notePulse writes the source URL and the capture time into the workbook itself, so the file can be traced back to the page it came from months later.
Honest limitationThe Overview, Contacts and Sources worksheets are thin for this page because the page itself publishes almost no contact or organisation detail. Pulse writes the sheets it can fill and leaves the rest empty rather than inventing content. Extract writes one generic business report for any page, so the Word and PowerPoint files title this result "Pulse Company Brief" and record GOV.UK as the organisation. That generic company-report framing is optimised for company pages and is less suitable for this government fee schedule; the figures it carries are correct, and the files are published unedited rather than corrected by hand. The workbook is the primary result demonstrated here.
How this picture was made, and the table behind it

The "after" picture is the workbook above opened READ-ONLY in genuine Microsoft Excel 16.0, on worksheet "Price Comparison" (sheet 6 of 19, used range A1:D27). The window was framed: the title bar, ribbon and the signed-in person's name are cropped away, and the first column was widened on screen so the category text reads. No cell value, format or sheet was changed and nothing was saved - the workbook's SHA-256 is identical before and after.

Smart Snip · live U.S. labour statistics

A federal statistics table, drawn as a chart page, becomes a spreadsheet

PulseSmart Snip
After — worksheet “Smart Snip” of the file Pulse produced
The workbook Pulse produced, open in Microsoft Excel
Sourcebls.govPulse actionSmart SnipOutputExcel workbook (.xlsx)Time1.8 sResult30 states × 4 columns

BLS publishes these figures as a chart page; the numbers sit behind a "Show table" control rather than in a file you can download. One selection returned every visible state with its hourly earnings, weekly earnings and weekly hours, as typed spreadsheet cells - and the same selection also produced CSV, JSON, text, PDF, PNG and editable Word and PowerPoint.

Honest limitationSmart Snip reads what is on screen, so this snip holds the states that were in view at the moment of the selection. Scrolling and snipping again continues the list. The two layout replicas carry a stray document property: their Keywords field reads "Pulse; undefined" instead of "Pulse; Smart Snip". It is a defect in the exporter, visible only in File > Properties, and it changes nothing a reader sees. The files are published as Pulse wrote them rather than tidied by hand; the exporter is fixed on the next version line, where a regression test now reads the finished document properties.

Research · evidence-backed company intelligence

Research goes deeper than we can responsibly publish here.

Pulse Research can surface named people, public contact details, evidence and source records. For this public demonstration, we show a representative company-intelligence preview while keeping the complete genuine dossier private.

  • Named peopleWho is there, with the role each one holds.
  • Public contact detailsPublished emails and switchboard numbers, as the source states them.
  • EvidenceEach claim carried with what supports it, not asserted on its own.
  • Source recordsThe pages a finding came from, linked so it can be checked.
Try Research yourself Free includes one lifetime Research run.
What is not hereThe complete dossier from the run behind this preview is deliberately not published and not downloadable. A genuine dossier names real people, so it is kept private rather than hand-edited - an edited file would no longer be a Pulse output.

A Research example joins this gallery when a run clears the same bar everything else here is held to: safe to publish openly, and good enough to put in front of a paying customer.

One selection, eleven files. Opened in genuine Microsoft Word, the result is a real table with editable cells, not a screenshot pasted into a page: every rate, every increase and every percentage matches the source exactly. The same snip also produced the spreadsheet, the data formats, the PDF, the image and a Pulse report in both Office formats.

Real-world noteEditable Word and PowerPoint replicas are live in the current Chrome Web Store release, as is everything else on this page. The artifacts here were produced with the release before it.
Honest limitationThe editable Word and PowerPoint layout replicas shown here were produced with the release before the current one; Word and PowerPoint export is live in the current release. In the CSV and JSON the column names come through blank and the real header row sits as the first row of data. That is deliberate: this table is published with every cell as an ordinary data cell, with no header markup anywhere in it, and Pulse will not promote a row it cannot verify is a header - doing so would relabel real data as column names. An unreadable header is left empty rather than invented, and no row is lost.

How these were made

The rules this page is held to.

Every example on this page is a real third-party webpage, opened in Chrome, with the real Pulse extension run against it. Each card is ONE run: every format offered on that one result was exported from it, and all of them are published exactly as Pulse produced them, byte for byte, each stating its own SHA-256. The "after" images are those same files opened in genuine Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. No result was corrected, reformatted or rebuilt by hand, and no example was dropped for looking bad.

Each run is kept under its own write-once evidence directory, named for its capture time and source domain. A later run never overwrites an earlier one.

The complete Proof Lab package below is one ZIP holding every genuine artifact on this page, one directory per example, each with a provenance file recording the source URL, the Pulse action and version, the run date, the measured time, every output filename with its SHA-256, the licence note and the known limitation. 3.1 MB, SHA-256 1e9327e776d65d7d…

Sources are used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 or as U.S. federal public-domain material, with attribution as each publisher requires. Crests, crowns and logos that appear inside a capture are part of an unedited record of the page: they are reproduced as captured, never used as a Pulse mark, and imply nothing. No source organisation endorses, sponsors or has reviewed Pulse Extractor.
