Pulse Extractor is a Chrome productivity, research and workflow extension that turns the webpage you are viewing into structured, editable, reusable output: it structures the page into a result, researches the organization behind it across its website and wider public sources, captures the complete page as a PNG or PDF, and recovers a selected region as editable content you can edit, annotate and redact before exporting it. The current Chrome Web Store release is 0.5.8, which includes Smart Snip, Smart Snip Studio and editable Word and PowerPoint export.

Capabilities, with their boundaries
Extract Page
Reads the webpage you are viewing and returns a clean, structured result: company information, contacts, emails and phones, organizations, products and services, tables, repeated records, useful links and real office or store locations where the page provides them. Results export to Excel, a PDF report, CSV and JSON.
Boundaries: it works on the page you are actively viewing, when you click. It does not crawl sites, queue URLs or run in the background. Not every page carries every field, and Pulse leaves a field blank rather than inventing a value.
Research
Starts from everything Extract Page found, explores high value pages across the company's own website, then checks relevant wider public sources, guided by a preset (Contact discovery, Projects & activities, Relationships discovery, Procurement discovery, Products & specifications). It returns a SUCCESS, PARTIAL or Insufficient evidence result, and a report can include sections such as Executive Summary, Company Profile, Key People & Contacts, Procurement and Sources where the evidence supports them.
Focused Research: planned. Naming an objective (projects, decision-makers, procurement, contacts, competitors) and receiving research centered on it is not part of the current release; every Research run returns the full company dossier.
Boundaries: Research uses only publicly reachable sources and does not access pages that require signing in. It is not a company database or a contact database. One Research run is charged only for a completed, billable result, and an Insufficient evidence result is never charged.
Smart Snip and Smart Snip Studio
Status: live in the current 0.5.8 release on the Chrome Web Store, including Smart Snip Studio (crop, straighten, rotate, resize, annotate, highlight, blur, pixelate, redact, watermark, undo) and editable Word and PowerPoint replicas that keep the layout.
Select one region of a webpage and Pulse keeps reliable tables editable, retains useful surrounding text, and offers the formats that fit the result, including Excel, CSV, JSON, PDF and PNG. One selection counts as one Smart Snip use; editing, Copy Image, Copy Text and reopening it never use another.
Boundaries: Free includes 20 Smart Snips a month, Lite 60, Starter 100 a month, and Pro and Intelligence include unlimited Smart Snip. Smart Snip reads English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian, with Arabic and Traditional Chinese in Beta; accuracy varies by language, script and image quality, so review the result. Urdu, Hindi, Persian and Turkish, and handwriting support, are planned for a later stage; none of these is part of the current capability.
Capture Full Page
Saves the complete webpage from top to bottom as a high resolution PNG or a multi-page PDF. Free includes 20 Full-Page Captures a month and Starter, Pro and Intelligence capture without limits. A capture's own PNG or PDF is included, and it never uses a Research run, a Page Extraction or a Professional Export.
Boundaries: A few app-style pages, such as dashboards, web mail and chat apps, scroll inside an inner panel rather than the page itself. On those, Pulse currently captures what is on screen rather than the whole panel. Ordinary websites, including very long ones, capture top to bottom. Chrome does not let extensions run on its own protected pages, such as browser settings or the Chrome Web Store, so Pulse is unavailable there. That is a browser restriction, not a Pulse setting.
Exports
Excel (.xlsx), PDF, CSV, JSON, text, PNG where applicable, Copy, and Download All, which packages every available export for a result into one ZIP file. One export action is one Professional Export, and Download All counts once. Free includes 10 Professional Exports a month; Starter, Pro and Intelligence export without limits. Copy never counts.
Plans and prices
As published on the pricing page. Every plan gets the same extraction quality; plans differ in capacity. These are the allowances in force in the current Chrome Web Store release; prices are unchanged. Lite is bought inside Pulse.
| Free | Lite | Starter | Pro | Intelligence | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $0 | $6.99 a month | $12 a month | $29 a month | $59 a month |

| Copy, Copy Image and Copy Text | Never counted | Never counted | Never counted | Never counted | Never counted |
- Annual plans are billed once a year, upfront, and work out to about two months free versus paying monthly.
- Research runs refresh every month on annual plans; a full year's allowance is never granted upfront. The one exception is Intelligence Annual's one-time first-month allowance of 200 Research runs instead of 100.
- Unused monthly Research runs do not roll over. Free's 1 lifetime Research run stays available until it is used.
- Extra Research runs are not offered at launch.
- Plans are managed from inside the extension. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.
Free plan limits
- 20 Page Extractions a month. When they are used, Extract Page pauses until the allowance resets.
- 20 Full-Page Captures a month, each with its own PNG or PDF included.
- 10 Professional Exports a month: an Excel, PDF, CSV, JSON or text file, or Download All as one ZIP. Copy never counts.
- 20 Smart Snips a month.
- 1 lifetime Research run.
- When an allowance runs out, that action pauses until it resets; everything already made stays available.
- The Free plan is not a trial that expires, and no card is required.
Data handling
- The extension accesses the active tab only after you invoke an action such as Extract Page. It does not request permission to view browsing history, monitor other tabs or read Chrome passwords.
- Extract Page is performed by the extension on your device, and results stay in the extension unless you copy or download them. On Free, a lightweight authorization request carries an operation identifier only, never page content.
- Research runs on Pulse's servers, fetches publicly accessible pages, and is built on deterministic page analysis and public-source search; where Pulse uses AI-assisted synthesis, it is grounded in, and checked against, the evidence Research collects. Where it cannot verify enough reliable information it returns Insufficient evidence rather than a guess.
- Pulse is designed to avoid storing raw page content, does not sell personal data, and does not use extracted page content for personalized advertising.
The Privacy Policy is the authoritative statement. The Responsible Use page explains the user's responsibilities, and the Terms of Service are the governing agreement.
What Pulse is not
- Not a crawler or a bulk collection tool: it works on the page you are viewing, one page at a time, when you click.
- Not a company database, contact database or tender feed: it structures what pages and public sources publish.
- Not a way around sign ins, paywalls or access controls.
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially integrated with Amazon, Shopify or WooCommerce, although it works across product pages on them as an independent tool.
- Not a guarantee that every page yields a result: Pulse does not claim to work on every page.
