Responsible Use
Last updated: 16 August 2026
Pulse Extractor is designed to help people analyze information they are authorized to access. This page explains what that means in practice. It is a plain language guide to responsible use, not a replacement for the Terms of Service — the Terms remain the governing agreement.
1. Built for pages you can already see
Pulse works on the page open in front of you. Extract Page structures that page. Deep Search researches beyond it using the relevant website and other publicly reachable sources. Neither is designed to reach content you could not otherwise view yourself.
2. Your responsibility as a user
You are responsible for making sure your use of Pulse complies with applicable laws, the terms of the websites you extract from, privacy requirements, intellectual property rights, and any access restrictions that apply to the information involved. Pulse structures what is on the page; it does not review whether you are entitled to use that information for a particular purpose.
3. What Pulse is not for
Pulse must not be used to bypass authentication, paywalls, access controls, or other technical restrictions a website has put in place. If a page requires you to sign in, pay, or otherwise gain access before you can view it, that requirement applies whether or not Pulse is involved.
4. Public figures and personal information
Where Pulse surfaces names, roles, or contact details, treat that information the way you would if you had read it yourself — with attention to context and any applicable privacy or data protection law in your jurisdiction. See the Privacy Policy for how Pulse itself handles data.
5. This page is guidance, not a shield
This page describes how Pulse is meant to be used. It does not limit or replace the Terms of Service, and following it does not by itself guarantee that any particular use is lawful — that depends on the laws and terms that apply to you and to the source you are viewing.
